Music Ministries
St. John's United Methodist Church enjoys a traditional worship
style that incorporates fine, sacred music from the Baroque era
through the 21st Century. Great care is taken by our worship
leaders to provide our congregation with a worship experience
enriched by liturgy and music that will both nurture and feed the
spirit and soul.
The music at St. John's is chosen with careful consideration to
the Christian Year and the Revised Common Lectionary, and the
musicians who offer that music do so with the understanding that it
is on behalf of the entire congregation that we offer our gifts to
God. We, the musicians at St. John's United Methodist Church,
strive to enhance our worship with integrity and beauty found in
the music of the finest composers of the past and present.
There are no auditions to participate in the music ministries of
this church and we welcome any and all persons to join us in the
joy of providing one of the many essential elements of worship at
St. John's United Methodist Church.
