This Lent ponder the themes of justice, poverty, grace,and love. In this 6 week Lenten Study, author and pastor Matt Rawle dives into 6 themes found in this story-grace, justice, poverty, revolution, love and hope-each represented by a character in Victor Hugo’s story. In keeping with his previous works, Rawle draws parallels between the iconic story and musical and our Christian calling, inspiring us to both understand our faith and live it out in the world. Bring a snack to share and come enjoy fellowship and study.

This book is available on Amazon & Cokesbury if participants wish to purchase it but it is not required.

Eat, Read & Pray

“Eat,Read,and Pray” together through Matthew’s presentation of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of Holy Week. That is,Matthew 25:31-26:56, with a strong assist from the prophet Zechariah, chapters 13 and 14. There will be a pot of soup on the stove with bread and butter on the side.Persons wishing to attend need only bring themselves,a willingness to engage the Gospel testimony,a Bible,and an appetite.
